- Chat messages — when you use Samvāda Chat or Maharshi Voice, your messages are sent to our AI backend to generate responses. These are not stored persistently.
- Account email — if you create an account, we store your email address for authentication.
- Learning progress — your course progress is stored to resume where you left off.
Automatically collected
- Anonymous usage data — page views and feature usage via Cloudflare Insights (no personal identifiers).
- Basic device info — browser type, operating system, screen size (standard web analytics).
How We Use Your Information
- To provide AI chat responses via our backend API
- To maintain your learning progress across sessions
- To improve the app based on usage patterns
- To send infrequent service announcements (if you have an account)
Data Storage
- Chat history: not stored on our servers. Conversations exist only during your session.
- Account data: stored securely on GCP Cloud Run with encryption at rest.
- Learning progress: stored in your browser’s local storage (no server copy).
- Analytics: processed by Cloudflare Insights (anonymized).

Data Protection
- All API traffic is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS 1.3.
- API keys and secrets are stored as environment variables, never in client-side code.
- No cookies are used for tracking (only essential local storage for your session).

- Access: request what data we hold about you.
- Deletion: request removal of your account and associated data.
- Opt-out: disable Cloudflare analytics via browser Do-Not-Track settings.
